MoMA Design Stores celebrate Japanese arts and crafts.

Not slick enough to hitch a ride to Tokyo on your photographer paramour’s ticket like Scarlett’s character? Not to worry. MoMA Design Stores’ newest product collection, Destination: Japan, has edited together more than 100 accessories and homewares designed by The Land of the Rising Sun’s brightest artists. From the collection’s mascot, “Mochi,” a vinyl toy born from the collaboration between Kidrobot and Devilrobots, to Takashi Murakami’s iconic “Eye Love I” pin, to sushi sets crafted from recycled materials and jewelry woven from kimono fabrics, you can at least look like you've been Lost in Translation. Arigato!
