GAP X WHITNEY

GAP X WHITNEY

Now that's what we call an artist tee!

Gap likes to one-up its peers. Take designer collaborations—When Uniqlo had Alexandre Herchcovitch and Target Jovovich-Hawk, Gap got threeASFOUR,
3.1 Phillip Lim, Band of Outsiders, Michael Bastian, and Philip Crangi. So when it came to tackling the ubiquitous Artist Designed T-shirt, they went straight to the Whitney Museum of American Art. The result is a limited-edition collection designed by 13 contemporary art icons from around the globe, including Jeff Koons, Chuck Close, and Marilyn Minter. These wearable works of art are now available at select Gap stores, the Whitney, and Colette, and at $28-$38, you can even afford to start collecting.
