Despite that Chanel, Cartier, and Chloé have orchestrated some of the most iconic perfumes, the French don’t exactly have the best reputation when it comes to their own
arômes. So, La Compagnie de Provence went back to basics. Based in Marseille, former sunglass designers (another south of France necessity) Philippe Boigeol and Pascal Bourelly’s skincare line comprises luxury soaps, bath salts, hand creams, and scented candles with exotic fragrances (ylang-ylang, almond blossom, wild rose) and eco-friendly ingredients that come in recyclable bottles or tied with hemp string. And now, La Compagnie de Provence have launched Organic Certified, a collection of organic lavender and verbena-scented suds made from all-natural palm oils and packaged in biodegradable, aluminum dispensers. The line even includes liquid soap for your fruits and vegetables!
