LOOKBOOK: ALICE MCCALL

Rebel with a cause.

Alice McCall was a stylist and designed for Buddhist Punk and Sass & Bide before launching her own label of exquisitely-designed dresses and separates in 2004. Since then, the Australia native has become a favorite with the fashion-forward set all over the world. For her fall collection, "High on Rebellion," McCall wowed us with dresses, blouses, high-waisted mini-skirts, and zippered leggings with names like "Ghost Dance" and "Rock and Roll Suicide." She channels the '60s with shift dresses that have patent leather panels and cut-away backs, and heavy viscose knits with faux lace-up jacquard features. Zig zag, flower, and rope prints swathe silk voile and metallic yarn is woven through kimono dresses and harem pants. In a word: rebellious.
