TALKING TRASH

Our new favorite T-shirt is Hollywood approved.

Designer Hushi Mortezaie cut his teeth in at Patricia Field and as one half of East Village design duo Michael & Hushi. But when he moved to Los Angeles, he was bit by the celebrity bug. Inspired by young Hollywood, Mortezaie teamed up with L.A.-based Mighty Fine on an apty-entitled T-shirt line Trash & Luxury. The results, super soft tees painted on with ’80s pop culture graphics and slogans like “Make-up Not War,” are not surprisingly gleaning fans from Rhianna to Nikki Hilton to, well as you can see, the NYLON staff.
