CHAI CRAVING
Richard Chai is Target's latest haute stuff.
Jovovich-Hawk has just rolled their Target line into stores, but the megastore has already announced the latest addition to their Go International club:
Richard Chai.
The Korean-American has a store in Soho and will be Target's 10th Go designer (after - deep breath - Luella Bartley, Tara Jarmon, Paul + Joe, Behnaz Sarafpour, Proenza Schouler, Temperley, Erin Fetherston, Jovovich Hawk, and the upcoming Rogan swimsuit line).
Before becoming a Target face, Richard Chai was an apprentice with Donna Karan and helped Marc Jacobs start his Marc by Marc line. He's also involved with the women's brand Nave and makes some of the best skirts we've ever worn.
Chai's Target collection launches in stores and online this August, despite rumors that British seamster Jonathan Saunders would be next in line for the Target throne...
