Nowhere in New York can you find an eco-friendly bicycle basket from Sweden, a tin hairpin box from Mexico City, and Ashidavox headphones from Tokyo all under the same roof but at KIOSK. Alisa Grifo, the woman behind the clandestine Spring Street boutique, travels the world and turns her souvenirs into a curated selection of quirky thingamajigs along with personalized notecards that tell their stories. Kiosk features a different country every six months or so, and today, the Hong Kong collection arrives. Drop in for some noodles and tea and beer…er, that one’s just for the launch party tonight (7-10pm).
