Where are these plus-size models you mentioned on Twitter?
Megan

@Raina I definitaly see one third row second pic.

The last girl. Gorgeous proportions but she's not a runway model.

Is this a joke?

@Skyler unfortunately not, on fashion runways "plus size" means "normal." Like size eight. It's different than the definition for like a plus size store.

Yeah these women aren't emaciated but if they are considered to be plus size models then I must be morbidly obese at a size 8.

None of these are plus size I call bull on this article.

In fashion an 8-10 is plus size. And those two girls are definitely an 8-10. And HOT. CHILL. OUT.

Crystal Renn is skinnier than those girls and she's like THE plus size model. This isn't nylon's BS it's the industrys.

I'm leaving off one star bc I want MORE of those girls on the runway.

I'm really confused as well. They all look like skinny runway models to me. If these girls are considered to be plus size,I might as well throw myself off a bridge and end it all now bc I'm doomed anyway.

I just think it is lame that Nylon posted that they used "many different body types". Misleading! They all looked pretty much the same to me. Oh maybe the one girl had a nice ass rather than none at all. It looked the same as any runway show to me.

@angela no way - nobody wants to fuck a runway model!

Mandy is right. Crystal Ren is skinnier than these girls. And its too bad an 8-10 is considered plus size on the runway but wouldn't you rather have a few of those girls than none at all?

I think its grotesque to label any model that small 'plus size'. I understand thats the way it is at the moment - but we shouldn't settle for it. I love fashion - but I hate feeling grotesquely large as a UK size 16 - when I'm incredibly healthy.
I understand that many shallow people would not care to see someone my size trot down the runway (not that I would want to do it anyway)- but model sizes need re-naming. Not just for chunky chicks, but for all models and females alike - plus size carries so many negative connotations in the fashion world - and completely misrepresents reality.

Continue to fail harder Nylon. Does everyone who writes from this publication live in a bubble of white hot ignorance seperate from the real world around them. Step out from the ridiculous realm of "fashin!111" and understand that y'all are promoting some fucked up ideals to your readers by calling these models "plus".

First of all, Crystal Renn in her plus size modelling days is in NO WAY skinnier than those girls. She is obviously much larger than they are- I have no idea how anyone can think she's skinnier than the girls in this show... She is full-figured, but has wonderful proportions and a gorgeous face. Those girls, even the "fuller" ones among them, are just plain wirey, nowhere near full-figured.
I see no real "plus size models" here, they all look tall and very thin. Some are not as skinny as others (and thank god for that), but they are all still regular model-type bodies. I'm giving it 3 stars because you gotta LOVE that bootie in the first picture- something rarely seen on the runways... To me this lovely posterior was the only unusual thing about the models in this show... Please don't use the term "plus size" for such models, and girls- don't let yourselves be fooled that looking like this is some sort of twisted standard for being "plus size". Those girls are plain THIN, no where near plus size. If you think they are, your standards of beauty and weight have probably been heavily damaged by the fashion industry...

they all look like world vision skeletors to me

yeahhh, i agree with the "its not nylons bs, its the industry's" i mean comparatively speaking to the real world yesss they are quite thin...but i mean by the fashion industry's standards...
personally, i think that there should just be models...not plus size or any of that nonsense...but heyy at least were getting somewhere.

Super misleading. One model, who questionably is a size 8, shouldn't be posted as "different body types". Plural. Sometimes Nylon super drops the ball.

This whole article was bullshit. wanna highlight real beauty? please put ALL kinds of girls on the runway. One girl kind of has a butt so all of a sudden there are plus size girls in the show?? Nylon fucked this one up. "Lets be super inclusive guys! we'll have ONE black girl and ONE kinda plus girl!! That'll make us look good!!
