Looks like somebody took their design inspiration from a speck of lint here. The only thing that's fresh is the 'minimalist foot look.' The spare, pared-down flat shoes are akin to the nude lip/dramatic eye appeal--allowing the fashion to be the focus. Too bad the designs are all smoke and no fire.
