#NYLONFW: NAHM

A sneak peek at Ally Hilfiger's design debut.

Just in case it wasn't obvious already, Tommy's not the only designer in the Hilfiger family. His daughter Ally has been lending her creative input on the H Hilfiger line for several years now, but now the 25-year-old is branching out fully on her own.

She's teamed up with friend Nary Manivong on NAHM (an acronym of their initials), a brand-new, menswear-inspired line that debuted today. But instead of taking their androgynous literally, the twosome's Fall collection zeroed in on dresses-which, according to Hilfilger, were inspired by boys' button-up shirts.

With a color palette of autumnal oranges, browns, and blacks and some heavy-duty beauty looks (including statement brows), it's a far cry from Tommy's signature classic Americana style.

However, check out our favorite looks from the collection below, and you'll see that change isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Dresses inspired by boys' button-up shirts? Loooove it. Also love that all these dresses actually look wearable. I mean crazy runway outfits are cool to look at, but very hard to pull off for the everyday person.
